 Bottoms
Up Dalmatians began in 1967. Our first priority has always been to
produce dogs with sound temperaments. We are constantly striving
to produce a dog true to its heritage as a coach dog who can also be a
good home companion.
Over the years we have produced numerous champions. When one looks at pedigrees, our kennel name will be seen behind many prominent Dalmatians. We are the breeders of CH Tuckaway Augusta. "Augie" is the breed's all-time top producing sire and is owned and loved by Sid and Francis Remmelle. Augie won the Sweepstakes and WD/BOW at the 1991 DCA Specialty. Our CH Bottoms Up Tuti Fruti CD RD won the Futurity that same year, a record for the breed. Augie's youngest yet to finish out of 112 champions is our own CH Bottoms Up I Wonder. She has been ranked in the top 25 for two consecutive years. In addition, we have shown CH Tuckaway Bottoms Up Gusto CD, the top liver dog of the '80s. Our Dalmatians have competed in obedience, tracking, and road trials. In addition to competition, we try to give back to our community by visiting nursing homes and schools, and appearing in parades.
